Life Loving Foods is embarking on a new culinary adventure …

Though we have many recipes at this point we note that none of them represent the African continent. For this reason, we have chosen to explore the heart of the continent to find a recipe that is representative of what is to be found on uncharted roads and hidden street corners. The kind of flavors and scents that locals enjoy and crave. Our journey took us to West Africa which is home to the immensely popular suya flavor grilled meats.

“Suya or tsire is a spicy meat skewer which is a popular food item in West Africa. It is also eaten in Sudan, referred to as “Agashe”. Suya is generally made with skewered beef, ram, or chicken. Innards such as kidney, liver and tripe are also used.” – wikipedia
